Can choices of color be heard as differences of pitch? Can the juxtaposition and layering of differing colors and textures be seen in correspondence to variation of orchestration? Might visual color and aural chromaticism align in our perception— to conspire to reinforce a sense of unending vacillation between image and abstraction?
